Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT) is neurological re-education exercises to assist the normalization of the developing, or developed, craniofacial structures and function. 
The OMT related to the study, research, prevention, evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of functional and structural alterations in the region of the mouth (oro), face (facial) and neck (oropharyngeal area). 
The talk presented by Ms. Bindrup has focused on the history of OMT in Dentistry, Oral Rest Posture normal vs. abnormal, symptoms vs. actual problem, causes of poor oral rest posture, basic overview of therapy program and things to look for when screening the patients.
